Урок по теме «Защита окружающей среды» (7 класс)

Тип урока: Урок обобщения, систематизации знаний

Цели урока:

Обучающие: систематизировать лексические, грамматические знания и совершенствовать речевые умения и навыки учащихся по теме «Защита окружающей среды». Развивающие: развивать способности - логически излагать содержание высказывания, - формулировать выводы по прочитанному материалу, - самостоятельной работы. Воспитательные: формировать - уважительное отношение к природе, - чувство сопричастности к проблемам экологии, - любовь и бережное отношение к окружающей среде.

Оборудование: индивидуальные листы с текстами и с заданиями по теме «Защита окружающей среды»; учебник Кауфман К.И., Кауфман М.Ю. “Happy English.ru” для 7 класса; плакат “Keep the Earth clean and green”.

ХОД УРОКА

I. Организационный момент.

– Good afternoon, pupils. Sit down, please.

1) Мотивация учебной деятельности учащихся и сообщение темы, цели и задач урока. - The theme of today’s lesson is “Environmental Protection”. The problem of our lesson is the global situation in ecology and what can we do with it. We are going to discuss and solve the problems of ecology and environmental protection. - Look at the blackboard, please. The epigraph of our lesson is “Nothing is forever”.

II. Речевая зарядка.

– Listen to the poem very attentively and try to understand what the words “change to green” mean.

Rub your eyes and look around, Litter lying on the ground, Bottles, cans and polythene- Take the tip and change to green! Forests going up in smoke, Cities fit to make you choke, Nowhere left to be that’s clean- Take a breath and change to green!

- Let’s read this poem once again. … read, please, the first quatrain. … read, please, the second quatrain.

III. Актуализация знаний, полученных на предыдущих уроках.

1) Закрепление лексического материала путем выбора из текста необходимой информации, ответы на вопросы.

– Your homework was to read the text “The Bottle” to the end and now I want to know how well you understand it. Read the following titles and choose a new name for the story.

a) Camping used to be fun. b) It was his fault. c) The saddest birthday.

- Answer the questions. 1. Why was the 10th of July a very special day? 2. How did Jack celebrate his birthday? 3. What did Jack’s Grandfather promise him? 4. Why did Jack want to go camping? 5. What did the campsite look like? 6. What did Jack and his Grandfather find? 7. Whose bottle was it?

2) Развитие умения монологической речи, контроль правильности использования лексического материала в монологе.

- Read and choose an answer. There are no direct answers in the text.

3) Контроль правильности использования лексического и грамматического материала на письме и в речи.

- Use the information from the second column and say: What is the Earth like in Jack’s time?

Look at the blackboard and give your ideas. - We mustn’t pollute the water. - We mustn’t kill the fish. - We mustn’t cut down trees. - We mustn’t drop litter. - We mustn’t leave campfire. - We must recycle paper, tins, food and glass. - We mustn’t kill animals for clothes. - We must sort our rubbish. - We must use public transport because cars pollute atmosphere. - We must always turn water off.

IV. Заключительный этап.

1) Подведение итогов урока. - So I hope you liked our today’s lesson. What did you do at the lesson? - What conclusions did you come to at the end of our lesson?

2) Выставление оценок. - I am very satisfied with your work today. Your marks for today’s lesson are … and marks for understanding the text nature will give to you. And nature will give you marks when you show your attitude to it and write your promise to it.

3) Домашнее задание. - Please, open your diaries and put down your home task. Your home task for the next lesson is to write a promise to nature. Please, do it on a separate sheet of paper.
